Frosty Chapter 6

LAST TIME!

At Pitch’s lair

Pitch threw June into a cage, and locked the door. He then strolled down to his chair, and summoned a nightmare next to him to pet it.

“Now this is interesting MiM, you brought back a random girl to life, and gave her the power to absorb other guardian’s power. And you thought you could hide something this big away from me for how long?" Pitch paused as he got off from his chair, and walked down the steps of his lair, "Once she’s under my control the guardians won’t know what hit them, and when that day comes the guardians will die. Fear will thrive through the world, and nothing will stop me.”

THIS TIME!

“So you’re saying that June might know how to use her powers?” Tooth stares at Jack.

“Well, it’s the only explanation of the huge wave of ice.” Jack stares at the others.

“What doesn’t make sense is that you told us Pitch had sent all of his nightmares to go, and finish her off, but in the end he just took her. Don’t you think that’s tad bit odd? Maybe he knows something that we don’t know.” Bunny finds everyone staring at the ground thinking.

“Or it could just be the fact to bring Jack or even the rest of us in a trap.” Tooth stared at Baby Tooth who was sitting on Jack’s shoulder.

“I agree with Tooth. Pitch would do anything to get all of us killed.”  North stroked his beard. There was a long moment of silence, and it was annoying Jack.

“I don’t even see why we’re still here doing nothing. We need to go, and get her wither it’s a trap or not.” Jack gets up, and nearly makes his chair fall to the ground.  He grabs his staff, and opens the front door letting the cool snow storm enter the room.

“Jack this is madness we don’t even have a plan. We don’t even know what we’re up against!” North gets up, and walks up to Jack, “Before going all crazy with this situation, you need think, I know before you became a guardian you did everything solo, but now we’re a team we do everything together. I suggest we spend a few days organizing what our plan is.”

“A few days?! Do you even have an idea on what Pitch could do to harm June? In a few days she could be dead!” Jack gave a stern look towards North.

“It will only be a 3 days, Jack. Plus you’re the only one who knows where Pitch’s lair is.” North says reassuring Jack, Jack simply shakes his head, and runs his hand through his hair.

“You got tonight, and all of tomorrow. By tomorrow night we’re getting June.” Jack stares at North.

“Jack this is crazy we don’t have time to make a plan by tomorrow night.” Bunny hops towards him.

“Then make time. You guys sound like you guys have never done this. Remember just about a year ago we went in war with Pitch, and we didn’t have plans. If saving one simple person is that hard to make plans for then I have no idea why you call yourself a guardian.” Jack stares at everyone, and then simply walks away. Everyone is left there silent.

“We should get going. We have a lot of work to do.” Bunny shakes his head, and walks towards North’s workshop.

Pitch’s Lair

June woke up feeling rather dizzy, and looked around to find herself in a cage. She quickly got up, but found herself falling against the cage bars.

“Where the hell am I?” June trying to regain her balance, and staring around the place. She noticed lots of cages, ruins, and mostly darkness. June walked slowly towards the cage door trying to open it, as she looked down she realized that the cage was suspended up into the air, and below her was a huge drop. June quickly fell to the ground of the cage, and backed up trying to not see what was below her.

“Like your new home?” June turned around to find Pitch staring down at her, she jumped, and then glared at Pitch.

“New home? More like prison.”

“Home, prison, it’s the same actually.” Pitch smirked. He walked slowly towards June.

“You can’t keep me in a cage forever, Pitch.” June growled.

“You won’t be in there forever, but you should get used to it though.” Pitch gave June a toothy grin. June slowly got her powers prepared for an attack.

“Get used to this.” June shoots some black ice towards Pitch, but he uses his black sand to shield it. June’s mark started to glow orange, and burn her hand. June started to yell from the aggravating pain, and fell to the ground holding her wrist. Pitch pushed June’s hand away from her wrist, and then grabbed her wrist himself. As soon as he touched it the pain got worse which resulted in June having a hard time to breathe.

“You should think twice before you attack, June. As long as you have this mark, you even make a scratch on this cage you will feel pain like never before. It’s simple as this June. You do as I say, and you won’t get hurt.  You don’t cooperate with me I’ll have the dark side of you do the dirty work for me. Which I highly think is what is going to happen.” June tried pulling Pitch’s hand off her wrist, but he just kept on holding her wrist even tighter.

“I…will…never…work for you…” June glares at Pitch with her teary eyes.

“Well you’re going to have to deal with it, because tomorrow you’re going to kill Frost. It will be my little message to the guardians on what’s coming ahead.” Pitch lets go of June also ending the pain from the mark, “So I suggest you get some rest, tomorrow is going to be a big day.” Pitch laughs as he exits the cage, and hits it hard to make the cage swing a bit. June crawls towards the cage bars to have stability from rocking back, and forth, and reaching a full stop. June then rests her back against the cage bars, holding her trembling hand and wrist with her free hand.

“Sleep tight June.”  The whole lair just turns to dark within a flash not even single ray of light could come through the lair. June was left there hearing screams of children being scared of nightmares, and the evil laughs of Pitch.
